The latest update to the all-female fighting series from Aksys, Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! will release later this year for North America.

The Arcana Heart series is most notable for being one of the first Fighter franchises to include an all-female cast. While the series may not be as popular in the US, other fighting games have begun incorporating an all-girl roster into the mix, with such titles like Skullgirls Encore (though two male characters are featured as DLC) and the blatantly titled Girl Fight on XBLA.

While six Arcana Heart titles have been released- including updated versions- only the original title saw a physical, console release in NA. According to publisher Aksys Games, the update to Arcana Heart 3, Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! will release in North America sometime during Fall 2014. Love Max!!!!! adds 90 challenge missions, Time Attack, an unlockable gallery, online multiplayer, and will feature English text partnered with the original Japanese voice acting.

Arcana Heart is developed by Japanese studio Examu, creator of the Fighting games Daemon Bride and Aquapazza: AquaPlus Dream Match.
