Mac and Linux users can finally explore the ruined subway systems of Russia, with Metro: Last Light.

Metro: Last Light is coming to Mac on Sept. 10, and will be available through the App Store and Steam. A Linux version has been announced for later this year, but a release date has not been issued. Those who already own a copy of Metro: Last Light through Steam, will have the option of downloading Mac and Linux versions on other computers via Steam Play.

Metro: Last Light and Metro 2033 are based on the post-apocalyptic novel Metro 2033 by Dimitry Glukhovsky; Last Light sold more copies during its opening week than Metro 2033 did in its first three months.
