Telltale’s The Walking Dead takes the cult phenomenon into new territory with a future release on the Android-powered OUYA.

The VGA 2012 Game of the Year, The Walking Dead is coming to OUYA sometime later this year, according to a blog post from Telltale Games. The OUYA version will be the complete experience, featuring all five episodes of The Walking Dead: Season One and the ‘400 Days’ DLC. The upcoming The Walking Dead: Season Two will also be available for the OUYA platform much later on. The first episode of Season One will be featured as a free download for those who may be curious about the game, without having to purchase a copy.

The OUYA is a crowd-funded digital-distribution based Android console, powered by a NVidia Tegra 3 processor, 8GB of internal storage (expanded via USB) and 1GB of RAM; the console is capable of 1080p video streaming from various online media services, and up to four OUYA controllers can be linked to one system.

The OUYA is currently available for $99.99.
