Microsoft Reveals Xbox One Launch Date

After several months of anticipation, Microsoft has finally announced a release date for the Xbox One.

Microsoft stated that November will mark the definitive release for their next console; as of this morning, the official release date has been set as Nov. 22; this applies to all of Microsoft’s initial 13 markets including the US, UK, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain. Along with the release, Microsoft also announced that the CPU performance has increased to 1.75GHz. The Day One editions of the console are once again available for pre-order, but will be in limited-supply. Expected launch titles include Killer Instinct, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and Lococycle.

The Xbox One with Kinect 2 will be available on Nov. 22 for $499.99.
