The World of Warcraft film will hit theaters in late 2015.

Blizzard’s flagship Fantasy franchise will be adapted into a movie of the same name- “Warcraft”- by Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures. According to the official Warcraft Twitter, the film now has an official release date: Dec. 18, 2015. Production will begin next January; “Warcraft” will be written by Charles Leavitt, and is rumored to feature Paula Patton and Colin Farrel and Travis Fimmel.
