Hideo Kojima On ‘MG Rising’ PC Version: “Looking Good”

Platinum and Konami are still working on that PC version of Metal Gear Rising, and it looks to be coming along very well.

Within the past two years, we’ve seen several new titles and collections from the Metal Gear saga; HD Collection, Legacy Collection, announcements for Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain (still unclear if these are indeed the same game)- all of which overshadow the recent bombastic entry that is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The Platinum Games Metal Gear title is a wild departure from the traditional Stealth genre, but it still generated enough of a following to spark interest for a PC version.

The last anyone heard about a PC version was back in June, when it was announced that Revengeance was in-development, and would run at 60fps on PC….and then it vanished. Earlier, Hideo Kojima reassured fans via Twitter that developers were still working on the PC version, and that it is “looking good[;] even the shadow looks beautiful”; Kojima posted two screenshots of the in-development PC version of Rising:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance does not have a release date for PC, but at least it hasn’t become “vaporware”.
