‘Plants VS Zombies 2’ Now Available For Android

The sequel to the popular garden-meets-undead “Tower Defense” game is finally available through the Google Play Store.

Plants VS Zombies 2 had a series of limited releases throughout the year in countries such as China and New Zealand; the title was officially released in August for Apple iOS devices via the App Store, but as of today, Plants VS Zombies 2 will be available for Android devices worldwide through the Google Play Store. PVZ2 is free-to-play, and includes the same strategic gameplay as its predecessor, with an added element of time travel; while the title includes micro-transactions for in-game coins, Polygon states that PVZ2 can be completed without ever using the feature.

Plants VS Zombies 2 is now available, and requires a minimum of Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread (most devices now use 4.2 or higher), 1GB of RAM, and an ARMv7 1.0 GHz CPU or higher.
