During Thursday’s weekly “Salty Cupcakes” stream on the “EightySixed” Twitch.tv channel, Mike Z unveiled a work-in-progress build of the next DLC character for Skullgirls– Big Band.

Big Band was the second of five DLC characters funded during the “Keep Skullgirls Growing” IndieGoGo campaign: The first playable male character in the game, Ben Birdland was an officer of New Meridian, given an early, violent retirement from his crooked former unit; his body was reconstructed by the Anti-Skullgirl Labs, with experimental musical weapons and organs. He protects Lab 8 and other Anti-Skullgirl Labs members under the alias “Big Band”.

Skullgirls is available on PSN, XBLA, and very recently PC.
