The PC-exclusive Indie FPS Wrack has finally been Greenlit, meaning an official Steam release will soon be a reality for the developers.
Wrack is a retro-influenced cel-shaded FPS currently in-development by Final Boss Entertainment; the quick arcade-style gameplay and music composed by Bobby Prince, combined with vibrant industrial cel-shading, create a truly unique FPS that calls back to the early era of PC shooter titles, such as Duke Nukem 3D, Doom and Serious Sam. The project has been sitting on Steam Greenlight for quite some time, but as of this morning, Wrack will finally be moving onward in the process to become a featured Steam title. Along with the Greenlit update, Brad Carney of Final Boss Entertainment stated that the future Steam version will include Steam Workshop, cloud storage, an upgraded Leaderboard with Steam Friends integration, and Early Access usage.
Wrack is currently available for pre-order via the official website; doing so will grant players access to an actively updating build of the game, and a level-editor. According to the Greenlight announcement, a Beta version will be available soon.
