Another popular Guilty Gear character will make their next-gen comeback in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Faust.

Arc System Works revealed through the official GGXrd website that the mysterious paper-bag adorned doctor Faust will return as a playable character for the next-gen Sony-exclusive chapter of Guilty Gear; his slightly-updated design and move-list have been added to the website, and are featured below:

According to FGC (fighting-game community) site Shoryuken, a translated version of the GGXrd prologue from the Arc System Works 25th Anniversary Official Character Collection book grants further evidence that the upcoming game will follow after the events of Guilty Gear 2: Overture, and also suggests that additional characters may include Sin and Dr. Paradigm, and the possible exclusion of the iconic Dizzy as a playable character.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- will release for the PS3 and PS4 sometime in 2014; other returning characters include Sol, Ky, May, Millia, Chipp, Potempkin, I-No, Venom and Axl.
