The HD console port of the PS Vita title Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade in mid-January.
Originally a PS Vita-exclusive, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation is set in 18th Century New Orleans, LA and is the first title to feature a female protagonist. The console version will be an up-scaled HD port, dropping the tie-in with ACIII as “Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD”. According to Ubisoft’s Twitter account, Liberation HD will officially launch as a digital title for Xbox 360 on Jan. 15 of next year.
PC and PS3 versions have already been confirmed, and will be available through PSN and Steam; the PS3 version will launch on Jan. 14, with the PC version also launching on Jan. 15.
