With the help of some very dedicated modders, the 2010 sandbox classic Just Cause 2 just got even wilder, with the official release of a multiplayer mod for the PC version. “JC-MP” has been playable through several brief, timed Beta sessions- most of which led to sheer insanity– but the whopping 500+ player madness is now officially available to everyone through Steam:

Just Cause 2 Multiplayer is free, and can be downloaded through Steam; server clients and additional setup information can also be downloaded from the official JC-MP community page.
