Still haven’t gotten enough Attack on Titan? A new series of 3DS XL cases themed after the franchise will be available for purchase next month in Japan.
Attack on Titan is a wildly popular franchise currently dominating Japanese and North American culture. The manga regarding the losing struggle against man-eating giants has since spawned an anime series with a second season currently in-production, a fan-made browser game, and an official Nintendo 3DS title to name a few. While the 3DS game Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind is currently a Japanese-exclusive title, producer Spike Chunsoft is rumored to be looking for a publisher to localize a North American version.
While the game itself may be region-locked, 3DS XL cases are not. Next month, a series of Attack on Titan themed 3DS XL cases will be released in Japan. Each of the three cases features custom artwork, based on the character designs from the anime adaptation of the series:
For those who can find listings, the Attack on Titan 3DS XL cases will sell for 1,814 ($18) yen each, and will be available for purchase this June.
