‘Hotline Miami 2’ Coming In Early March

The sequel to Dennaton Games’s award-winning Hotline Miami is finally coming to platforms in two weeks.

Earlier today, Dennaton Games announced that Hotline Miami 2 would finally release in just a few weeks- March 10. While the Sony versions can be purchased through PSN, the PC/Mac/Linux release can be pre-ordered through Steam, GOG, or the Humble Store.

Developed by the small team behind Dennaton Games and published by Devolver Digital, Hotline Miami was an intense twitch-based slasher, backed with a mind-bending story and pulsing soundtrack. After its initial debut on PC, Hotline Miami was eventually ported to Mac, Linux, PS3, PS4 and the PS Vita. As part of a fan-oriented PR campaign, fans could text questions to an anonymous phone number, and receive a cryptic message from one of the game’s characters. Devolver also had fans submit short video clips, or call a phone number and leave a message about the game; both were turned into respective trailers. Shortly after the announcement of Hotline Miami 2, another phone number was released, though fans who called the Miami-based number would only get a “wrong number” message.

Again, Hotline Miami 2 will release for PC/Mac/Linux, PS3, PS4 and PS Vita on 3/10. A Collector’s Edition is available for $60 through iam8bit.com, which includes the game and the soundtrack on vinyl.
