The late adopters of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided can finally access the same perks and items as the pre-order crowd on all platforms.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was 2016’s highly-anticipated follow-up to the award-winning Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The third chapter of Eidos Montreal’s prequel saga, Mankind Divided is set four years after the events of Human Revolution, with augmented citizens completely outcast and segregated from the rest of society due to a string of terrorist attacks. Though it was under fire from fans for the relatively short length and the pre-order launch date manipulation, Mankind Divided still retains the critically-acclaimed gameplay and political maturity of its predecessor.
Publisher Square Enix announced earlier today that the pre-order DLC bonuses will now be available to everyone across PC, Xbox One and PS4 for free through an update. The extra content includes the “Desperate Measures” mission, “Covert Agent” DLC pack, and a handful of other in-game items and skins for Adam Jensen. Digital copies of the novel Deus Ex: Hard Line, The Dawning Darkness comic, and the mini-artbook are also available as a free download directly through the Square Enix website.
