The Kickstarter for MegaMan spiritual successor Mighty No. 9 launched with great success on Saturday, as the project has already been funded within the first 48 hrs.
Comcept’s Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter campaign launched on Aug. 31; as of early this morning (Sept. 2), the campaign reached its initial goal of $900,000. While the project has already been funded and is set for release in 2015, several other stretch-goals still remain, such as the addition of two extra stages at $1,200,000, versions for Mac and Linux at $1,350,000, and console versions (PS3, 360, Wii U) at $2,500,000.
Those who still wish to donate towards Mighty No. 9, the MegaMan spiritual successor by Keiji Inafune and Comcept, can still contribute to the Kickstarter campaign through Oct. 1.
