The nonsensical mayhem of the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod will finally have an official Steam release later this month.

Just Cause 2 is considered to be one of the most entertaining “sandbox” (i.e. open-world) games of the previous generation; “modders” have found a way for multiple players to share the same wild experience together with a multiplayer mod for the PC version…Yes, it’s a wild experience:

For a little over a year, the mod has had several timed-Beta tests for players to join- the next one starts on Dec. 7; according to the official Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod website, the mod is nearing its final phases, and should be ready to officially launch on Steam sometime this year, with an official release date coming “after the test”.
