Eddie/Zato-1 returns for the next-gen installment of the bombastic fighter series Guilty Gear, along with a brand new character to the series- Bedman.

Guilty Gear will finally receive a “new” title featuring Unreal Engine 3 and high-definition visuals next year with Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- for the PS3 and PS4. Characters are still being revealed through the official Japanese website; the current roster features 13 characters, with the newest additions being Eddie/Zato-1 and a character original to Xrd– Bedman:

Bedman is shrouded in mystery: The character is in a state of permanent sleep upon his “bed”- a nightmarish machination that fights in his place; his motives and past are unknown, and he possess the ability to pull others into his own world of nightmares.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is currently available through public play-testing in Japan, but the PS3/PS4 versions will be available sometime in 2014.
