Big Boss lives again next March with the multi-platform release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.
The first chapter of the Metal Gear Solid V saga will be available across all platforms (360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4) on March 18, 2014; Ground Zeroes features open-world stealth and infiltration as series “fallen hero” Big Boss/Punished Snake, and acts as a prequel to its larger second-half, The Phantom Pain. It was confirmed last month that the PS3 and PS4 versions will feature the exclusive “Deja-Vu Mission” with MGS1 Solid Snake, and the Xbox versions would come equipped with their own exclusive content: “Jamais Vu” will be available on both 360 and One, and features a time-traveling Raiden from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as he battles the apparent threat of “body-snatching entities”:
A 15 min. gameplay trailer was also released earlier today; the walk-through of the first mission includes several new elements, including the ability to lure enemy soldiers towards Snake’s location using by taking a hostage, the ability to drive vehicles, “Reflex Mode”, and dynamic searchlights:
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available on 3/14 as both physical and digital titles.
