‘Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z’ Now Available For Pre-Purchase On Steam

The wild madhouse of a spin-off to Ninja Gaiden, the PC version of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is now available for pre-purchase through Steam.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is an upcoming hack-and-slash title from developers Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited and comcept inc. This “what-if” spin-off sequel follows the revenge tale of Yaiba Kamikaze, a drunken, trash-talking ninja previously slain by series protagonist Ryu Hayabusa, who has been resurrected through science and technology for the purpose of revenge, and discovering the source of a zombie-outbreak…Clearly, Ninja Gaiden Z is a far deviation from the serious tones of its source material.

While there will not be a physical release for the PC version, buyers can now pre-purchase Yaiba through Steam, for the current price of $47.99; the cost reverts back to $59.99 on March 21. The system requirements are nothing fierce, but the recommended specifications are listed below:

    • OS: Windows® XP (32-bit)
    • Processor: Dual core CPU 2.5 GHz
    • Memory: 3 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 9800 or better
    • Hard Drive: 7 GB available space
    • Sound Card: Standard audio device

    • OS: Windows® 7

    • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460 or better
    • Hard Drive: 8 GB available space
