‘Killer Is Dead’ PC Version Delayed To Late May

The latest tale of blood and romance from Suda51, Killer is Dead made its console debut last August. An updated PC version was scheduled to release later this week, but will be delayed to later this month.

Killer is Dead is a stylish character-action title from Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture, and follows Mondo Zappa through a series of contract-issued assassination missions against entities of the supernatural and celestial kind. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Killer is Dead would make its PC debut in May, with Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition. This updated version includes the “Smooth Operator Pack” pre-order bonuses, the “Gigolo Glasses”, “Episode 51” and the Gigolo Mission with the vampiric seductress Betty. Nightmare Edition also includes an extra “Nightmare” difficulty setting.

While Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition was originally scheduled to release on 5/9, according to Steam, the release date has been pushed back two weeks to 5/23. System requirements are as follows:

Minimum:

    • OS: Windows Vista 64-bit 
    • Processor: 2.0 Ghz or above 
    • Memory: 2 GB RAM 
    • Graphics: GPU that supports Shader Model 3.0 
    • DirectX: Version 10 
    • Hard Drive: 13 GB available space

Recommended: 

    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8 
    • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz(4 CPUs 
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM 
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 
    • DirectX: Version 11 
    • Hard Drive: 13 GB available space

Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition is a PC-exclusive, and will be available through Steam for $19.99.
