The assistant to Igor and resident of the Velvet Room, Margaret will be available for the North American version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax as a paid-DLC character.
Persona 4 Arena was released in 2012 as a direct sequel to the PS2 JRPG classic Persona 4. The fighting game spin-off from Arc System Works received a sequel in Japan last year, as “Persona 4: The Ultimax – Ultra Suplex Hold” was released in arcades. Console versions are scheduled to release tomorrow for Japan (8/28) and on 9/30 for North America.
Extra characters were previously announced for the home versions of P4AU, including Adachi and Marie, who will both be available as free DLC. Margaret, the Velvet Room resident and older sister of Elizabeth, was recently announced as a DLC character for the Japanese release; it was confirmed earlier today that she will also come to the NA version. While a price has not been revealed for the Margaret DLC, she will launch one week after the North American release date of Sept. 30.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in physical and digital formats. The opening movie is now available online, courtesy of the Japanese Atlus YouTube channel.
