The Indonesian PC horror hit DreadOut is getting a third chapter set to debut very soon.
From Indonesia’s Digital Happiness, DreadOut is a PC-exclusive survival-horror title inspired by the Fatal Frame series. Players take hold of Linda, one of many students plagued by hauntings during a field trip. Using her phone’s camera, Linda can spot hidden ghosts and exercise ghouls and phantasms. Several of the hauntings in DreadOut are based on Indonesian horror, myths folklore.
In honor of this past weekend, DreadOut was on sale as part of Steam’s Halloween Sale. Developer Digital Happiness took to Facebook to not only announce the sale, but reveal the upcoming third chapter of DreadOut, “Keepers of the Dark”. Described as a “lost chapter from the previous game”, Keepers of the Dark picks up shortly before Linda faces the “Lady in Red”.
A release date has not been revealed, however DreadOut is currently available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux.
