‘NieR: Automata’ Coming To PC In Two Weeks

2B and company are heading to Steam just two weeks after the PS4 release of NieR: Automata.

From the developers of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and The Wonderful 101 comes NieR: Automata, a pseudo-continuation of the Drakenguard series through 2010’s Nier. Set to release in just four days for the PS4 in North America, Automata follows androids 2B, 9S and A2 on a quest to reclaim Earth from an alien army of machines. The title moves at a much faster pace than its spiritual predecessors, with players tackling hordes of enemies and massive robots in a hybrid of Bullet Hell and hack-and-slash gameplay.

Developer Platinum Games and publisher Square Enix previously confirmed NieR: Automata would see a PC release, but the Steam store listing finally went live this morning, confirming a March release just days after its console-counterpart. Those who pre-purchase Automata will also receive the “Day One Edition” digital pack, containing the “Machine” mask, “Grimoire Weiss” Pod, and three additional Pod skins- “Retro Grey”, “Retro Red” and “Cardboard”; the Steam version also features a “Valve” accessory for 2B, replacing her masked right eye with a red valve handle.
