Take Skullgirls on the go with a free-to-play adaptation for both Android and iOS devices.

With the help of Hidden Variable Studios and LINE, the hand-drawn Fighter from Lab Zero Games and Autumn Games is now available for Android and iOS devices. Skullgirls Mobile retains the look and overall nature of its console, PC and PS Vita/PSTV counterparts, but favors RPG and strategy elements over traditional competitive Fighter genre gameplay.

The free-to-play adaptation lets players build a team of three fighters as usual, however available attacks are individually assigned before each match, and can be issued through gestures and screen tapping. Experience points are gained for each victorious match; obtaining enough points will “Evolve” and unlock additional characters, attacks and “Blockbuster” super-attacks. Those who may not have the patience to unlock new techniques and characters can always attempt to do so by purchasing Cards via microtransactions, but the rewards are randomized.

Skullgirls Mobile can be downloaded for free directly through the Google Play and App Store marketplaces.
