After six years of development, the completed version of the arcade-FPS Wrack has been officially released on Steam. I recently spoke with Final Boss Entertainment Lead Developer Brad Carney to commemorate the occasion, discuss the Steam Greenlight process, and talk about the influences behind this stylistic shooter.
Continuing the bi-weekly update trend, Wrack‘s “Look Into My Eye” update goes live on Monday, with a new level, boss and even more decals.
Today’s bi-weekly update for the cel-shaded shooter offers a new level, the long-awaited ability to “rocket jump” without consequences, and a new boss, among several other goodies included within the “Fall Into Darkness” update for Wrack.
Players now have an additional way of sharing their creativity with the Wrack community, as today’s “It’s a Trap!” update added support for Steam Workshop.
Wrack, the retro-inspired FPS from Final Boss Entertainment is finally available for Steam users.
The PC-exclusive Indie FPS Wrack has finally been Greenlit, meaning an official Steam release will soon be a reality for the developers.
