Battlefield 4 certainly closed 2013 on a moderately low-note, but a new patch will be arriving later this month across all platforms that should hopefully fix any lingering issues.
Battlefield 4 may not be the perfect military-FPS that fans were expecting, but EA and DICE have been hard at work administering patches and bug-fixes for most of the available platforms; the Xbox 360 version has been slightly behind on updates. According to the official Battlelog forum, a new multi-platform patch will be arriving later this month. Currently there are no details as for what the patch intends on fixing, but according to Junior Product Manager Tommy Rydling, the patch should fix a wide variety of problems:
“While millions of players are enjoying Battlefield 4, we are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the game. While some platforms have had only minor problems, others have had more than their fair share of issues. Resolving these is our #1 priority.”
A full record of Battlefield 4‘s issues, both current and resolved, can be found within the “Control Room” on the official Battlelog forum.
