Starting in April, Wii U owners can get their fix of classic handheld action, as several Game Boy Advance titles will be made available through the Wii U Virtual Console.

According to Thursday’s Nintendo Direct, several classic Game Boy Advance titles will be available through the Wii U Virtual Console beginning in April; Japan has a more definitive date- 4/3. Depending on which region Wii U owners live in, both markets will have access to different catalogs of games; GBA launch titles are as follows:

USA:

  • Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
  • Metroid Fusion
  • Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3

Japan:

  • The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
  • Wario Land 4
  • Mario Tennis Advance
  • Metroid Fusion
  • Advance Wars
  • WarioWare
  • F-Zero
  • Golden Sun

Each month, Nintendo will add new titles to their growing roster of digital handheld titles. Currently, these will be exclusive to the Wii U Virtual Console; Wii and 3DS releases have not been confirmed, though some titles were available through Nintendo’s Ambassador Program, such as Metroid Fusion.
