
Starting in April, Wii U owners can get their fix of classic handheld action, as several Game Boy Advance titles will be made available through the Wii U Virtual Console.
According to Thursday’s Nintendo Direct, several classic Game Boy Advance titles will be available through the Wii U Virtual Console beginning in April; Japan has a more definitive date- 4/3. Depending on which region Wii U owners live in, both markets will have access to different catalogs of games; GBA launch titles are as follows:
USA:
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- Metroid Fusion
- Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Japan:
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
- Wario Land 4
- Mario Tennis Advance
- Metroid Fusion
- Advance Wars
- WarioWare
- F-Zero
- Golden Sun
Each month, Nintendo will add new titles to their growing roster of digital handheld titles. Currently, these will be exclusive to the Wii U Virtual Console; Wii and 3DS releases have not been confirmed, though some titles were available through Nintendo’s Ambassador Program, such as Metroid Fusion.
