Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja are looking to build even more hype with the launch trailer for the latest DOA 5 update, Last Round.
The most expansive chapter yet, Dead or Alive 5 is about to get another update with DOA 5: Last Round. This version marks the next-gen and PC debut of the long-running 3D fighting game franchise, and adds a slew of new features to the already robust title. Player customization has been expanded to include the ability to add/remove glasses from characters, and change their hairstyles; a DOA tradition, Last Round will include well-over 30 additional costumes to be unlocked through in-game feats, and as optional DLC. Across the base, Ultimate and Last Round versions, DOA 5 features the most cross-over characters of any installment, roping in characters from both the Ninja Gaiden and Virtua Fighter franchises.
Publisher Koei Tecmo unveiled the launch trailer for Last Round earlier today on their official YouTube channel. While the game may not release for consoles until Feb. 17, DOA fans can get a peek at some of the bombastic action that the latest update has to offer, along with more footage of new characters Honoka and Raidou, and previous additions from DOA 5 and Ultimate:
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will release for 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 on 2/17; the PC version has been delayed to 3/30.
