The tactical hack-and-slash Zelda game Hyrule Warriors is getting its final DLC pack this March, granting players new costumes and the ability to play as Ganon’s ultimate form.
To celebrate the long-awaited release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Koei Tecmo’s Hyrule Warriors received a Majora’s Mask-themed DLC pack. The “Majora’s Mask Pack” added Tingle and Young Link as playable characters, extra costumes for Sheik, Impa and Lana, and a new Termina “Adventure” map. This add-on is currently available through the Nintendo eShop for $7.99.
The last DLC pack has been revealed to be the “Boss Pack”, coming mid-March. For $2.99, the Hyrule Warriors Boss Pack adds the “Boss Challenge” boss-rush gauntlet mode, and “Ganon’s Fury”, where players wreak havoc while controlling Ganon’s beast form. Completing both modes will respectively unlock new costumes for Link, Zelda, Lana, Ganon and Cia.
The Hyrule Warriors Boss Pack DLC will be available through the Nintendo eShop on 3/12. Those who purchase the “Hero of Hyrule Pack” with all four DLC expansions for $19.99 will also receive Dark Link as an additional costume.
