‘StarCraft II’ “Tychus Findlay” Figure Now Available For Pre-Order

A convict-turned-double-agent, the ruthless Terran Marine Tychus FIndlay is now a collectible figure from Sideshow Collectibles, due to release late this year.

While his motives are originally unclear, Tychus Findlay is a former convict, offered a chance at freedom by assisting Emperor Mengsk as an undercover agent. Findlay accompanies Jim Raynor and the ragtag team of “Raynor’s Raiders” in their attempts to subdue Mengsk’s forces and reclaim Kerrigan from the Zerg, however FIndlay’s true objective is to assassinate the Queen of Blades himself.

While he spends a surprising amount of time off-camera in the campaign for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Tychus Findlay is probably best remembered as the featured Terran Marine in the cinematic trailer:

Premium collectible manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles revealed that a Tychus Findlay figure is currently in development, and is now available for pre-order. The “Tychus” figure is 1/6 scale, measuring 15.5″/39.4cm tall, weighing at 4.5lbs/2.04kg. Two interchangeable heads are included, with one featuring Tychus’s iconic cigar-in-mouth expression. The completed figure will also include lights in the vents and torso, along with various additional weapons including a lighted “C-14 Impaler Gauss” with removable clip.

The StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty “Tychus” figure from Sideshow Collectibles can be pre-ordered for $524.99, and is projected to release in Q4 2015.
