In just two weeks, North American and European audiences will get their turn at giant-slaying, with the launch of Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains.
What started in the pages of manga, Attack on Titan has become a global media phenomenon; the series has since spawned an amazingly popular anime series available online and featured through Cartoon Network’s Toonami, an online social game, a live action adaptation set to debut in Japanese theaters this year, and a free high-octane fan-game on PC:
Earlier this year, Spike Chunsoft confirmed that the latest 3DS Attack on Titan game would be localized for both North America and Europe. Originally released in Japan as “Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind“, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will release as a digital title via the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $39.99. The European release is titled “Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains”, and will include a free premium 3DS Home Theme as a special bonus.
Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is compatible with all versions of the 3DS (3DS, 3DS XL, New 3DS, New 3DS XL), and will be available for purchase on 5/12 in both regions.
