Cuphead and Sunset Overdrive customization items are coming to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 as pre-order bonuses.

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is bringing his classic arcade-style extreme sports franchise back to consoles with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Following Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD on PSN, XBLA and PC, THPS 5 marks the franchise’s next-gen debut on the Xbox One and PS4. The score and objective-based skateboarding title originally debuted with pseudo-realistic graphics reminiscent of the early THPS games, however developers Robomodo and Disruptive Games recently opted for stylized, moderately cel-shaded visual scheme instead.

Depending on the retailer, anyone who pre-orders a copy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will receive some sort of retailer-exclusive customization items, ranging from skateboard decks to character-costumes. Earlier today, Cuphead developer Studio MDHR announced that Cuphead and Mugman “Create-A-Skater” heads will be available to those who pre-purchase THPS 5 through XBLA. Insomniac’s Xbox One-exclusive Sunset Overdrive will also be represented, as pre-orders also grant owners an additional head based on the Sunset Overdrive trailer protagonist:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will release for Xbox One, PS4, 360 and PS3 on 9/29.
