The shopkeeper herself is now available for purchase in the North American version of Estival Versus.
Following Shinovi Versus and the rhythm-cooking spin-off Bon Appetit/Dekamori, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus released for North American audiences this past March. A Sony-exclusive, Estival Versus resumes the Sony-based storyline with the young ninjas stuck on a tropical island within a spiritual realm; though within the same universe, the Sony and Nintendo releases feature alternate timelines. Disregarding the Japanese-exclusive mobile trading card game, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus boasts the largest amount of playable characters in the series thus far, however the additional DLC characters have yet to release in North America.
Earlier today, the first DLC character went live for the North American release of Estival Versus. The upbeat shopkeeper behind the additional costumes and unlockable in-game content, “Ayame” is now available for purchase through PSN. Representing Hanzo Academy, Ayame fights with a variation of Katsuragi’s moveset, using gauntlets on her hands and feet, and a smorgasbord of items from her shop.
Ayame is available through PSN for both the PS4 and PS Vita versions for $3.99. Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is available for PS4 and PS Vita; the title is also compatible with the PS TV. Remaining DLC characters include Ninja Gaiden‘s/Dead or Alive‘s Ayane, and Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson‘s Naraku and True Kagura.
