‘Street Fighter V’ “Ryu” Statues Now Available To Pre-Order

The pre-order window for three premium-level $900 Ryu statues just went live through Pop Culture Shock Collectibles.

To celebrate the latest evolution of the Street Fighter franchise, premium-level collectible manufacturer Pop Culture Shock is now offering three new Ryu statues based on his appearance in Street Fighter V. Using the actual character model and in-game data provided directly from Capcom, PCS was able to sculpt near-perfect depictions of Street Fighter’s marque fighter Ryu:

Die-hard Street Fighter fans can get their hands on statues based on Ryu’s trademark White Gi appearance, the “Satsui No Hadou” (or “Dark Hadou”, “Killing Intent”) Evil Ryu from previous Street Fighter games- complete with glowing LED eyes, or his recent topless bearded “Battle” variant found only in Street Fighter V.

Each statue stands at 73.66cm/29in tall, weighing in at an estimated 13.5kg/30lbs; all three variants are 1/3rd scale with real fabric used to tailor each Gi.

The Ryu, Battle Ryu, and Evil Ryu statues will each be available to pre-order for $899.99 starting at 3pm PST/5pm CST today. Those capable of paying for the statue in one full payment can do so at the discounted price of $764.99. For the extreme Ryu fan with expendable income, all three statues can be purchased together as a bundle; the “Ryu – Evolution Set” contains all three 1/3rd scale statues together for $2,699.99, or $2,429.99 if paid in-full up front.

Only 350 Ryu, Battle Ryu and Evil Ryu statues will be produced, with only 50 Evolution Sets up for pre-order. The Street Fighter V Ryu statues from Pop Culture Shock are expected to begin shipping on 5/17/2017.
