Following the Microsoft and PC releases, Shadow Complex finally makes its Sony debut this May.
From developer Chair and Epic Games, Shadow Complex is a futuristic adventure-driven platformer sure to challenge the best of players; a “Metroidvania” title of sorts, Shadow Complex‘s gameplay was inspired by the classic 2D lon-linear Metroid and Castlevania series, with a heavy focus on intense combat and exploration. Originally released as a 360-exclusive in 2009, Chair released an updated version for Xbox One and PC last year; for those who acted quickly enough after its announcement, the full version of Shadow Complex Remastered could have been downloaded for free on PC.
Earlier this week, Chair co-founder and Creative Director Donald Mustard announced that Shadow Complex Remastered will launch on the PS4 in early May. Apart from the clear and present visual upgrade, Shadow Complex Remastered also features new “Master Challenges” and dynamic enemy take-downs.
Shadow Complex Remastered will release for the PS4 on 5/3.
