The Pegasus Knight Cordelia is getting the collectible treatment from Good Smile Company this Summer.
2012 saw the triumphant return of the Fire Emblem series with Fire Emblem: Awakening on the Nintendo 3DS; the title would later make the leap overseas to North America the following year. Despite its reputation as being a notoriously difficult tactical-RPG series, Awakening was the first in the franchise to include a “Casual Mode” for beginners without the fear of “perma-death”); if anyone in the player’s party were to die in the midst of battle, he or she would be revived, assuming the player was victorious.
Making her franchise debut in 2013’s Fire Emblem: Awakening (2012 in Japan), Cordelia is a member of the Pegasus Knights of the Halidom of Ylisse, and one of the only survivors of her former unit. Though she was originally tasked with protecting the royal family of Ylisse, Cordelia eventually found herself in the company of Chrom’s vigilante force, the Shepherds.
Collectible manufacturer and distributor Good Smile Company will release a new statue of the Pegasus Knight herself Cordelia this July. Standing at 24cm/9.4in tall, the 1/7th scale PVC statue is based on illustrations by Fire Emblem: Awakening Character Designer Yusuke Kozaki. Cordelia is depicted wielding her lance with a giant Pegasus wing erupting behind her; the water accents around Cordelia’s feet can be removed for an alternate base design:
The Fire Emblem: Awakening Cordelia statue can be pre-ordered through Play-Asia and other collectible retailers for $149.99, and is expected to begin shipping on 7/1.
