‘Killer Instinct’ “Mira” Now Available For ‘Season 3’ Owners

The newest addition to the Killer Instinct roster is now available for both the Xbox One and PC.

Rather than go for a full release at launch, former Killer Instinct developer Double Helix made a bold move to release the title’s content through DLC windows, or “Seasons”. Instead of paying for a full game, anyone could download Killer Instinct for free on Xbox One, and test the waters with rotating free characters; players who decided to invest in the Fighter could then purchase the Season and unlock the rest of the game and any future content for that period. Now under Iron Galaxy, Killer Instinct is on its third Season of content; with a Story Mode, revamped online multiplayer settings, and 16 characters behind it, Killer Instinct: Season 3 will add 3 more classic characters, 4 new additions and an unannounced final character, the new Shadow Lords mode and more.

The latest combatant of the Killer Instinct universe, Mira debuted earlier today for all Killer Instinct: Season 3 owners. While this is the first time the undead vampire will be playable, Mira first appeared in the closing of Maya’s Season 2 Story Mode as her fallen sister.

Killer Instinct: Season 3 is currently available for Xbox One and PC via the Windows 10 Store.
