The Metal Gear Solid V definitive experience is finally official, though it might not be the “complete” experience.

After multiple early international product listings, Konami finally announced Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience for consoles and PC. The upcoming collection includes both halves of Metal Gear Solid V– Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain– together on one disc akin to the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. It has not been confirmed for the PC version, though MGSV players on Xbox One and PS4 will have the ability to upload their save data into the upcoming collection. The Definitive Experience not only includes the entire MGSV epic, but all previously-released DLC for both games. The complete list of included DLC is as follows:

Not included in the list above, The Definitive Experience will include additional MB Coins as a gift at launch. Those fortunate enough to own the “Collector’s Edition” of MGSV: The Phantom Pain were treated to extra behind-the-scenes features, including a look at the incomplete “Mission 51: Kingdom of the Flies”. Confirmed through a series of tweets from the official Metal Gear Twitter account, the extra footage of the cut original ending will remain exclusive to the MGSV: TPP Collector’s Edition. Konami also has no plans to restore Mission 51; it was stated through Twitter that fans received the completed game on “Sep. 1”.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience will release for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 10/11.
