According to today’s press release, Nintendo attractions are coming to all three Universal locations over the next several years- Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan. Specific details surrounding potential rides, restaurants and themed areas were not given, however Nintendo fans can expect to find themselves exploring “expansive, immersive and interactive” environments, shops and restaurants based on their numerous franchises. As stated by Shigeru Miyamoto and Universal Creative’s Mark Woodbury in a companion video, the two companies hope to build a real-world gaming environment that appeals to fans of all ages and gaming experience levels.

The three Universal parks and resorts are home to various exhibits based on films, cartoons, comics and books; some of their more popular rides and attractions include The Incredible Hulk Coaster, The Simpsons Ride, Revenge of The Mummy, and the immersive Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Hogwarts tour and roller coaster.
