Industry Icon Award recipient Hideo Kojima gave fans an extended look at his new project, Death Stranding.

During tonight’s worldwide broadcast of Geoff Keighley’s 2016 Game Awards, Hideo Kojima appeared after last year’s forced absence to receive the Industry Icon Award. Kojima’s presentation concluded with a fresh look at Death Stranding, the enigmatic PS4-exclusive title from Kojima Productions.

The brand new trailer features an extended look at the dilapidated,, bizarre militaristic world of Death Stranding. Watchful eyes may notice the world of Kojima’s creation is overrun by a militaristic force equipped with organically-infused weapons and vehicles. Apart from the previously revealed Norman Reedus, famed actor Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Doctor Strange, Rogue One) and Guillermo Del Toro have been revealed to play roles in the upcoming title.

Death Stranding will release exclusively for the PS4 and PS4 Pro. An official release date has not been confirmed.
