Illuminati member and key manipulator of the Story Mode, Kolin is back for more in Street Fighter V‘s Season 2.
Despite its occasional brush with controversy, Street Fighter V is still going strong in the competitive Fighter community. Following the previous wave of content designed to expand the game, developer and publisher Capcom announced a second “Season” of DLC, which kicked off last December with the release of Akuma and a new stage.
Announced earlier today as part of an admittedly strange cross-promotion with Lupe Fiasco, Capcom revealed the next DLC character for Season 2- Kolin. Acting as Gill’s assistant and an undercover agent of the Illuminati in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Street Fighter V, the future DLC release marks Kolin’s first playable appearance in the Street Fighter franchise. Nicknamed the “Phantasm of Snow and Ice”, Kolin appears to be a close-quarters fighter imbued with icy attacks and defensive traps to freeze opponents.
Kolin will release for Street Fighter V on PC and PS4 on 2/28. A Season 2 Character Pass is available for $29.99, granting players access to each of the six DLC characters upon release.
