Frank West’s re-imagined first zombie encounter heads to Steam in just a few weeks.
Not to be confused with the release of the remastered 2016 Dead Rising, Dead Rising 4 is a complete re-imagining of Frank West’s Christmas encounter with the undead at a shopping mall. The fifth title in the series adds a plethora of new weapons, the new Iron Man inspired “Exo-Suit”, and the vehicle-crafting elements featured in Dead Rising 3.
Dead Rising 4 developer and publisher Capcom recently announced that Frank West’s outing would join the rest of the Dead Rising collection on Steam this March. Those who pre-purchase the Steam version will receive a 20% discount ($47.99) and the “X-Fists” Exo-Suit melee weapons; a Season Pass will be available through the Dead Rising 4 Deluxe Edition ($67.98), and as a stand-alone purchase shortly before the official release.
Dead Rising 4 will release through Steam on 3/14; PC gamers can already purchase the title through the Windows 10 Store, however Dead Rising 4 is not a PC/Xbox One cross-buy product.
