‘Jet Set Radio’ Statue Teased By First 4 Figures

Starting next week, Sega fans can pre-order a statue of an iconic skater and graffiti artist from the classic Jet Set Radio.

First 4 Figures is no stranger to video game memorabilia. Just last month, the talented group of sculptors and artists revealed a new Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword statue, depicting Link riding on the back of a Loftwing. Their past catalog includes Samus Aran’s Gunship, Metal Sonic, Wolf Link and Midna, and a tribute to the “Blue Bomber“.

According to the First 4 Figures Facebook page, collectors will soon be able to pre-order a statue paying tribute to Sega’s cult-classic, Jet Set Radio. While no specific details about the statue have been revealed as of yet, the collector’s item will depict the Jet Set Radio version of series protagonist, Beat.

Jet Set Radio (or “Jet Grind Radio” in NA) originally debuted on the Dreamcast; in 2012, a remastered HD version was released digitally across XBLA, PSN and PC. Along with the updated visuals, the HD version gave players a new camera-control system and online leaderboards. JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future was released in 2002 for the original Xbox, and is still a console-exclusive 12 years later.

Pre-orders for the Jet Set Radio Beat statue will open via First 4 Figures’s website on 11/18.
