‘Evolve’ PC Requirements Revealed

With the Evolve Beta just days away, PC gamers might want to double-check the system requirements before they jump into the multiplayer action this Friday.

The Evolve Beta launches on Thursday for Xbox One and PS4 owners, however PC gamers must wait one more day, as the PC Beta will not go live until Friday. Regardless of what platform gamers choose, the Evolve multiplayer event lasts through the weekend, ending on Jan. 19 (next Monday).

Publisher 2K Games released the official PC hardware/software requirements for both the Beta and the full retail game through the official Evolve website. While the specifications may not be as robust as those listed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the Recommended section suggests that PC owners have a GTX 670-760 or Radeon R9 280, along with an Intel Core i7-920 and 6GB RAM. The complete specifications are as follows:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
INTEL CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600
AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 6400
SYSTEM RAM: 4GB
NVIDIA VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 560
ATI VIDEO CARD: Radeon HD 5770
VIDEO MEMORY: 1GB
HARD DRIVE: 50GB

Recommended Requirements:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
INTEL CPU: Core i7-920
AMD CPU: A8-3870K
SYSTEM RAM: 6GB
NVIDIA VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 670 or GTX 760

Evolve will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 2/10.
