It may not be the most-demanding game in the PC library, but gamers are going to need some competent hardware if they want to get the best performance out of Mortal Kombat X.
Mortal Kombat X isn’t the first MK title to appear on PC’s, however it is the first game in the franchise developed with next-gen capabilities in-mind. A copious amount of gameplay footage is available on the internet courtesy of NetherRealm’s weekly Twitch.tv broadcasts; Mortal Kombat X is proving itself to be one of the most detailed, visually appealing 3D Fighters to date.
It’s certainly no Crysis 3, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or Battlefield 4, but Mortal Kombat X is still going to require some decent hardware if PC gamers wish to run the Fighter at its best; it’s recommended that gamers have an Intel Core i7 and a GTX 660 for optimal performance. Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to release for PC, Xbox One, PS4, 360 and PS3 on 4/14. Depending on where gamers search, four special/collector’s edition options are available through select retailers, ranging between $89.99-$179.99.
