New images from Square Enix’s Hidemi Matsuzuka show a colored in-production version of the upcoming Arkham Knight Play Arts Kai Batman figure.
Square Enix debuted several new collectible figures at the New York Toy Fair, including several Nendoroids, Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy franchise figures, DC Comics Variants and Marvel Variants. Three new figurines were also revealed for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight Play Arts Kai series, including colored versions of Harley Quinn, the “Arkham Knight”, and Batman.
Earlier today, Square Enix’s Hidemi Matsuzuka released two more images of the Batman figure. While both images are of an already colored, highly detailed Batman figure, the images are not representative of the final retail release:
Release dates have not been set for the Arkham Knight Play Arts Kai figures, however they may release during the game’s launch window. A “Robin” figure was shown at SDCC, but was not present at the NY Toy Fair.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the first Arkham game to receive the “M-Mature” ESRB rating, and will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 6/2.
