The next-gen overhaul of Devil May Cry 4 is arriving late next month, with upgraded visuals, new characters and an additional difficulty mode.
With the original trilogy and DMC both having updated versions, Devil May Cry 4 is finally getting an update with Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. The enhanced version features enhanced graphics tailored for the next-gen consoles and PC, along with five playable characters; apart from Dante and Nero, players now have the ability to use Trish, Lady and Vergil, with the latter using a combination of skills from Devil May Cry 3 and DMC. Capcom released a new trailer early this morning, showcasing all five characters in-action, along with the new “Legendary Dark Knight Mode” difficulty setting:
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will release for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 6/23. An updated release of the original trilogy, Devil May Cry HD Collection can be purchased for the PS3 and 360, along with the enhanced DMC: Definitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One.
