After 20 years, the powerful warrior Tusk returns to fight again in Killer Instinct: Season 3.
The Killer Instinct reboot from Double Helix and Iron Galaxy is nearing completion, with the official release coming later this month. Making its debut on PC, Killer Instinct: Season 3 will launch with more characters than the previous seasons, with a roster featuring returning favorites and a current pair of cross-over guests; both the Arbiter and Rash from the Halo and Battletoads franchises will be playable at Season 3‘s launch.
This weekend during their Twitch.tv broadcast, Iron Galaxy debuted the first full gameplay trailer for the powerful barbarian warrior Tusk. The sword-wielding strongman is now reimagined as a Norse warrior awakened from his frozen slumber, imbued with the strength of the gods. Following the Arbiter and Kim Wu, Tusk will have his own unique stage set against the backdrop of a frozen Viking warship.
Tusk will be available at launch beside Arbiter, Kim Wu and Rash for both the PC and Xbox One versions of Killer Instinct: Season 3. The PC version will release exclusively through the Windows 10 Store as a Cross-Buy title; not only will PC owners automatically receive a copy for the Xbox One, but Killer Instinct will also feature online Cross-Play between the two platforms.
Killer Instinct: Season 3 will release for Xbox One and PC (Windows 10 required) on 3/29.
