The Sony-exclusive Nitroplus Fighter is coming to Steam later this year courtesy of XSEED.
From Examu, Marvelous and Nitroplus comes Nitroplus Blasters: Heroines Infinite Duel (or “Nitro+ Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel”), an assist-based crossover fighting game for the PS4; the title also saw a PS3 release, though only for Japanese audiences. The title features characters across the Nitroplus brand, including Super Sonico, the Fate series, Phantom of Inferno, Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa and Hello World. Players choose three characters for each fight- a main fighter and two Assist characters; each Assist character can be called in for an “Assist” attack outside of the main fighter’s mechanics, but only if her attack gauge is charged.
In the footsteps of Guilty Gear Xrd and Koihime Enbu, Nitroplus Blasterz publisher XSEED Games recently announced that the once Sony-exclusive Fighter will see a PC release sometime this Winter. Available through Steam, the PC version includes several upgrades featuring new victory animations, animated stage backgrounds and Training Mode settings stored between gameplay sessions.
An official release date has not been revealed, however Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will release for PC via Steam later this year; the PS4 version is available in North America, however the PS3 release must be imported from Japan.
DLC crossover characters Aino Heart and Homura (Arcana Heart and Senran Kagura franchises) have not been confirmed for the PC version.
